| well, the trips over and im finaly at school and im so happy to be back in fact, i was so excitend and jitterish that i sliced my hand bad three times cutting open boxes...
so the trip was fun, and i know none of you are gonna read everything i write about the trip, so take this as my kinda journal entry...but neways i labeled it so in the off chance you innerested in a subject you dont have to read the enitre flippin thing. the most exciting first.
How i blew up a can of flaming propane in my face - haha bet that got your attention. so heres how it happened. mom asked me to change a can of cooking propane. i have never done it before. so i did it next to sum candles cause it never occured to me that compressed flamable gas and fire = boom. so apparently when you change it sum gas escapes...so i was looking at the thing and next thing my entire field of vision was covered in flame. so i jumped back then stared at it as it melted the tarp underneath and decided to let itself burn out, but dad came over, hit it with a towel and put it out. so...that was that...i escaped with my amazing catlike reflexes (ha!) and suffered only really minor burns on my right hand and burned off half the hair on my leg...so it looks like i started to shave it, did a bad job, and gave up...rather disturbing, and the hair on my left forearm. the poor tarp now has a massive hole in it...i guess it didnt blow up, kinda good thing, otherwise i'd be plugged with shrappnel, but how i set a can of propane on fire in my face sounds dumb.
How the rain ate our tent and we had to get a new one...but didnt anyway - yeah it rained the first night, then again right when we were breaking camp and we had taken the rain fly off mom and dad's tent, so while we delt with everything else, it was soaked and very muddy, and we decided to get a new one but didnt get around to it. mom was fine the next night - her half was dry, but dad's half was still soaked.
Sights - Pompeii - im not sure how you spell that. it was cool ruins, but it was very organized and we couldnt hop around like turkish ruins. another thing, you'd never get rain in august in turkey! and the toilets in italy were all the hole in the ground, and the few american ones had the seats ripped off...yeah that makes sense...turkeys not like that. and turkey has plenty or rocks to hammer in stakes. and turkeys less crouded. i prefer turkey to italy rome - lotsa lotsa people O_O we didnt go to the vatican museums cause there was a several kilometer line. and we waited 1 1/2 hours to get to the top of st. paul's cathedral, which was really cool and ak got clastraphobic in. we didnt go in the coloseum either cause of the line. the catacombs were really cool. siena - nice town with a reall nice town square shaped like half a tubber-ware bowl. and a torture museum i wanted to see didnt cause mom said it was awful and goes against our values. silly mom san giornio - thats definaly not spelled right. but it was a nice little town. we climbed one of the 17 or so towers and there were a buncha big pretty green brass bells at the top. coast at sum point cause i cant remember the name - yeah we went to the coust and it was really tight! we like drove along super green cliffs and it was great view, then we walked a long way in the blazing sun between sum fisher villages and it was alota fun. and ak complained alote, then afterwards got into an insane fit of happiness...chsh girls pizza or piza or sumthin - yeah! we saw the leaning tower of piza or pizza! and it leaned really cool. but we didnt go up cause there were no soon tours and it was 75 euro for out family O_O and i was very excited to take a pic with ak holding it up and then got there and realized everyone else was doing just that...it was very depressing. switzerland - i deceided i luv switzerland! great place, nice weather, and lotsa skiing. we stopped at a nice little town with two bridges its famous for cause theres paintings of suicidal monks, phsykotic danceing skeletons, and homocidal knights. it was very inneresting. peculiar swiss. ak was very very depressed the entire time and in aextremly bad mood because she thought her clothers were awful and didnt match and her hair wasnt done right, because a buncha punks and skaters our age were walking around...chsh girls ...again... kandern - ha back to school! we went camping and in rained friggin bucketloads and we all slept in the same tent and i leaked and everything got sopping wet...so that was a adventure and i checked in to my dorm a day early haha
Food - ice cream - its what kept us kids going. everyday we had like 3/4 scoops of the best italien ice cause mom brought a guide book, that told us were the best were. so we ate at the best in rome, the best in tuscany, the best in the world, so on so forth. it was very enjoyable like swimming in a pool of happy pizza - the pizza was fantastic!!!! we had it in naples, where they invented pizza, and another place. at the other place, by jehosafat, they brought out my pizza and i was afraid to eat it! it was so pretty, i hated to ruin it!! it was covered in salami slices, and bits of sausage and wurstel or whatever, and strips of raw bacon! heavanly!!!
Traveling - car - ha lots trip in the car during the time i had to read my american history text book for AP US history. yeah so i read like a chapter a aday, and big chapters, took me like 3 hours a chapter. but it was very inneresting so i got it done. i also read 3 1/2 other books during that time, and ak read about 6/7. ferry - yeah we took a ferry frum turkey to italy. it was 35 hours or sumthin, but our cabin had electric so we watched sum movies and played a game of scrabble, which always takes my family forever to finish, ran around and played hide an seek...well the girls and me, and it was rather enjoyable to be on open sea agian. i luv boats, specially fast ones
alright so im finnaly done and that was a pain to type...but now i'll remember it if you read that all...wow...im impressed. bully for you. i think mom is gonna put all the pics on cd, so i might post them later...well...besides all that im still so stoked to be back yeah bye
